About us

HVAC Service Built Around Southern California Homes

AllPro HVAC Services works on heating and cooling systems in homes across Los Angeles, the San Gabriel Valley and the southeast LA communities. We cover the whole system: air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, ductwork and the air moving through it. Local weather shapes what goes wrong. Inland neighborhoods and valleys get much hotter in summer than areas near the coast, and fall Santa Ana winds can bring hot, dry spells that push an older AC hard. Winters are mild, so a furnace may sit unused for months and then struggle on the first cold night. When we come out, we start by finding the actual cause of the problem. Then we explain what we found and what your options are, including whether repair or replacement makes more sense for your system. If you're considering new equipment, we'll go over the local rules that affect furnace replacement and check which rebates are available for your address before quoting them.

More about how we work

What to expect

How a visit goes

  1. Diagnosis before recommendations

We find the cause of the problem first, then recommend a fix. You'll know what's wrong and why before we start any work.

  2. Straight talk on repair vs. replace

Not every breakdown means a new system. We lay out the trade-offs so you can decide what fits your home and budget.

  3. Rebates checked for your address

Rebate programs depend on which utility serves your home. We confirm the current offer for your address instead of assuming.

FAQ

Common questions

Don’t see your question? Call (213) 444-2507 and we’ll talk it through.

Do you offer emergency HVAC service?

Yes. We offer 24/7 emergency service for heating and cooling problems, such as an AC failing during a heat spell or a furnace that stops working on a cold night.

Are there local rules I should know about before replacing my furnace?

Yes. South Coast AQMD Rule 1111 limits NOx emissions from natural-gas fan-type central furnaces sold and installed in the Los Angeles region, and the district has been amending it toward zero-emission requirements. The district sets and revises the compliance dates, so check the current rule when planning a replacement. We can walk you through how it may affect your options.

Can I get a rebate for a new heat pump?

It depends on your utility. LADWP residential electric customers can apply for Consumer Rebate Program rebates on qualifying heat pump HVAC systems, with the amount based on the unit's SEER2/HSPF2 rating. The application is filed after the equipment is purchased and installed, within 12 months of purchase. Many homes outside the City of Los Angeles are served by Southern California Edison instead, so available rebates vary. We confirm the current offer for your address before quoting it.

Is the federal tax credit for heat pumps still available?

No, not for new installations. The federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (25C) covered qualifying heat pumps placed in service before December 31, 2025, and it is not available for installations after that date.

Does a heat pump make sense in Los Angeles?

For many homes, yes. Los Angeles has dry summers and mild winters, and a heat pump handles both cooling and heating in one system. Inland and valley homes that see hotter summers need proper sizing, which we work out during the estimate.

How often should I schedule HVAC maintenance?

Once a year is a good baseline for each system. Many homeowners schedule AC service before summer heat and furnace service before the cooler months, since a furnace that sits unused most of the year can develop problems you won't notice until you need it.

When is a ductless mini-split a good choice?

Mini-splits work well for rooms without existing ductwork, such as additions, converted garages or older homes, and for rooms that stay too hot or cold compared to the rest of the house. Each indoor unit can be set to its own temperature.

Should I get my ducts cleaned?

It can help if you notice heavy dust buildup at the vents, musty odors, debris in the ducts or after renovation work. We can inspect your ductwork and tell you whether cleaning or other indoor air quality steps make sense.

Need Heating or Cooling Help?

Whether your system needs a repair, a tune-up or a replacement, AllPro HVAC Services can take a look and explain your options. Emergency service is available 24/7.
